Recipe Ingredients for Margherita Pita Pizzas

2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 garlic clove
4 pita bread
2 plum tomatoes
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp fresh basil

Recipe Directions for Margherita Pita Pizzas

  1. preheat oven to 450.

  2. combine oil, Italian seasoning, vinegar and garlic. mix well.

  3. place pita rounds on stoneware, brush with oil.

  4. slice tomatoes, topping pita rounds evenly

  5. top with cheese

  6. bake 10-12 minutes.

  7. sprinkle with basil.

  8. cut in quarters, serve warm.
