Recipe Ingredients for Marbled Peanut Butter Fudge

6 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups butter
12 ounce evaporated milk
1 jar marshmallow creme
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter

Recipe Directions for Marbled Peanut Butter Fudge

  1. Mix sugar, butter, and milk in heavy saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly.

  2. Continue boiling 5 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

  3. Remove from heat. Stir in marchmallow creme and vanilla.

  4. Divide mixture into 2 equal portions. Stir chocolate chips into one portion until melted and blended. Stir peanut butter into other portion until blended.

  5. Pour peanut butter mixture into greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Top with chocolate mixture.

  6. Cut through fudge with knife several times to give marble effect. Cool. Cut into squares.
