Maple Yams Recipe

Supposed to be a sweet potato recipe, but I only had yams on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Maple Yams

3/4 pound yam, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp orange juice
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch salt

Recipe Directions for Maple Yams

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Toss yam slices with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place on baking sheet and bake 20 minutes

  2. Beat together maple syrup, orange juice, and seasonings. Brush on yam slices and bake another 10 minutes. Turn over, brush again, and cook a further 10 minutes, or until tender and glazed.
