Made in a mini-muffin tin for mini-granola bars.

Recipe Ingredients for Maple Walnut Granola

3 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons canola oil
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup blackstrap molasses
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Maple Walnut Granola

  1. Mix the dry ingredients. Mix the wet ingredients thoroughly. Combine mixtures. Pack into mini-muffin tins (about 2 teaspoons of the mix) and bake at 325deg for 30 minutes.

  2. Alternative: spread a thin layer on a cookie sheet lined with silicon paper. Bake at 325deg for 15 minutes. Remove and stir gently. Bake for 15 minutes more.
