Delicious over Pork or Chicken. Makes a lot and is great over mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli or peas. Adapted from Cooking Light.

Recipe Ingredients for Maple Mustard Sauce

5 g. butter
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 cup water
60 g. maple syrup
30 g. dijon mustard
1 t. sage
1 t. thyme
15 g. fat free sour cream

Recipe Directions for Maple Mustard Sauce

  1. Melt butter in saucepan.

  2. Saute meat in butter until cooked through. Set aside and keep warm.

  3. In the same pan, mix syrup, dijon, water, sage and thyme. Stir to incorporate all ingredients, and scrape up any brown bits left over from the meat.

  4. Bring to a boil and reduce until thickened, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Add meat and turn to coat.

  6. Serve.
