Recipe Ingredients for Maple and Miso Scallops

3/4 lb sea scallops, patted dry
1 salt and pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons miso

Recipe Directions for Maple and Miso Scallops

  1. Season the scallops with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan.

  3. Add scallops and caramelize on both sides, about 3 minutes per side, and set aside.

  4. Add the vinegar, maple and miso to the pan and reduce to a sauce.

  5. Add the scallops back to the pan and toss to coat.
