This granola is delicious as a homemade breakfast option, but it is also a wonderful whole-grain, high-protein snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Maple Cinnamon Granola

4 cup rolled oats
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup maple syrup

Recipe Directions for Maple Cinnamon Granola

  1. Preheat the oven to 150degree celcius.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil and maple syrup. Pour the mixture over the oats and nuts, and tossing with a spatula until evenly incorporated. Spread the mixture out on a large rimmed baking sheet or roasting pan. Bake for about 60 minutes, stirring once or twice.

  4. Allow the granola to cool completely on the pan and transfer to an airtight container.
