indian tandoori dish. Add red food coloring if you want the funky color the chicken has in the indian restaurants. I personally don't see a need. Serve with cucumber raita, fresh grilled veggies, and brown basmati rice.

Recipe Ingredients for maninated tandoori chicken

32 oz chicken, light meat, meat only
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tsp garam masala
1/4 cup cilantro
1 tsp salt
3 tbs lemon juice

Recipe Directions for maninated tandoori chicken

  1. cut chicken into thin, palm sized servings

  2. finely chop all vegetables and raw spices

  3. combine all ingredients into a large ziploc bag and squish around until chicken is completely covered.

  4. marinate 24 hours. remove chicken from bag, shake off excess marinade.

  5. grill on med-high heat until no longer pink.
