Makes 4 servings



Mango sausage with sauteed chard and onions. Can use less sausage to reduce fat and sodium. Can also add spinach or use Mango/Jalapeno sausage for spicier dish

Recipe Ingredients for Mango Sausage with Chard

4 link Mango
4 cup raw Red Swiss Chard
1 cup, chopped Onions
1/4 oz Garlic Flavored Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Mango Sausage with Chard

  1. chop onions, chard (keep stems and leaves separate) and sausage

  2. saute onions in oil in wok style pan (ideally with lid)

  3. when onions begin to become translucent, add chard stems and sausage. Stir and cook til (precooked) sausage is warm

  4. add chard leaves and cover til chard wilts/steams

  5. add spices to taste and stir

  6. do not over cook chard

  7. serve plain or with rice
