Recipe Ingredients for Mango-Chilie Chutney

1 tsp yellow mustard seeds
1 cups mango, cubed, 1/2in cubes
1/4 cup unpacked golden raisins
4 peppers, dried (Thai, cayenne or chilie de arbol, stemmed)
2 tbsp Splenda brown
1 cup water
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped, fresh

Recipe Directions for Mango-Chilie Chutney

  1. Heat oil in small saucepan over medium-high heat.

  2. Add mustard seeds, cover, and cook until seeds have stopped popping (20-30sec)

  3. Add mango, raisins and chilies to taste (it may spatter).

  4. Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered stirring occasionally until the raisins are plump and the fruit is lightly browned (5-8 minutes)

  5. Add sugar and cook, stirring, until it dissolves (about 2 minutes).

  6. Add water and salt.

  7. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally until the sauce is syrupy-thick (10-15minutes).

  8. Stir in cilantro and serve.
