Aunt Jody's recipe..can subsititute chicken breast to make a little healthier.

Recipe Ingredients for Mandarin Chicken

4 pounds chicken thighs, boneless, skinless, sliced
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
15 oz mandarin oranges
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Mandarin Chicken

  1. in plastic bag, mix flour, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and pepper. add chicken to bag and shake to coat.

  2. in saute pan add olive oil and brown coated chicken, make sure to shake off excess flour from chicken.

  3. transfer to shallow casserole dish.

  4. mix together juice from oranges, soy sauce, brown sugar & garlic. pour over chicken. bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
