Home Made Lasagna, using my spaghetti sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Mamma's Lasagna

2 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
16 oz Tomato Sauce Basil Garlic and Oregano
2 1/2 serving Tomato Paste No Salt Added
14 1/2 oz Tomatoes
6 pieces Lasagne
4 cup Shredded Cheese
15 oz Part Skim Ricotta
1/2 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Mamma's Lasagna

  1. Brown meat with onion and seasonings, drain return to pot

  2. add tomato sauce, paste and diced, add seasonings if needed and let simmer on low

  3. boil noodles, rinse in cool water and drain well

  4. While noodles boil in a large bowl combine ricotta, parmesan, egg, and 3.5 cups of mozzarella and add seasonings to jazz it up if you like

  5. layer in a lightly greased 9X13 in cake pan

  6. meat sauce

  7. noodles

  8. cheese mix

  9. meat sauce

  10. noodles

  11. cheese mix

  12. meat sauce

  13. until last layer of noodles

  14. top with last of meat sauce and remaining mozzerella

  15. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 30 minutes

  16. uncover bake 10 more minutes

  17. let stand 10 minutes before serving
