My personal shrimp scampi recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Mama's Shrimp Scampi

3/4 pound medium shrimp
1 stick of butter
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

Recipe Directions for Mama's Shrimp Scampi

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Stir in green onion, oil, garlic, lemon juice and salt. Cook until bubbly

  3. Add shrimp and heat ( or cook, stirring occasionally until shrimp turn pink ).

  4. Stir in parsley and zest.
