Serves 2. Great with brown basmati rice and steamed vegetables. Will work with tofu as well.

Recipe Ingredients for Mama's Chicken Tandoori

4 unit+yield+from+1+lb+ready-to-cook+chicken chicken breast
170 g natural yoghurt
20 g almonds
3 tsp lemon juice
4 clove garlic
4 tsp ginger
4 tsp cumin
4 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 ml sea salt
2 ml cayenne pepper
2 ml black pepper

Recipe Directions for Mama's Chicken Tandoori

  1. Put chicken pieces in a shallow casserole.

  2. Mix together the remaining ingredients and spread over chicken, the cover the dish and place it in the fridge to marinate for 1 - 1.5 hours. Preheat the oven to 200 C.

  3. Bake the chicken in the marinade for 35-40 minutes, or until cooked thoroughly.
