Recipe Ingredients for Malai Chicken Tikka Recipe

500 cubes boneless chicken
1/2 cup yogurt (Thick Curd)
1/4 cup fresh cream
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
28 g Cashew Nuts
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp Salt (taste)

Recipe Directions for Malai Chicken Tikka Recipe

  1. Pierce the chicken cubes with a fork and keep aside.

  2. Soak the cashews in the milk for about half an hour and then grind them into fine paste.

  3. Take a bowl and mix together , hung curd , cream , cashew paste , salt , pepper powder , ginger paste and garlic paste.

  4. Then tip in the chicken pieces and rub the marinade into them and refrigerate for minimum 1 hr.

  5. Next , skewer the marinated chicken pieces and cook in a oven for 10-15 mins at 180 degree C.

  6. Baste the chicken with butter while turning them occasionally.

  7. Serve piping hot with mint chutney and onion rings
