A quick dinner to whip up for a date to make him stay for seconds! :-)

Recipe Ingredients for "Make Him Stay" Ziti

1 lb ground beef
2 cups onion, chopped
224 g penne
26 ounces tomato sauce
8 ounces provolone cheese
4 cups mozzarella, shredded
6 tbs parmesan cheese, grated
8 ounces ricotta cheese

Recipe Directions for "Make Him Stay" Ziti

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a large skillet, saute the ground beef and onion until beef is cooked through and onion is translucent. (Optional: add in fresh garlic or garlic salt for a little extra flavor).

  3. Bring a large pot of water to boil and add in half a box of penne pasta. Cook according to directions on box.

  4. Spread a small amount of tomato sauce in the bottom of a 9x13in pan (just enough to have a thin coat).

  5. Add about half the drained pasta to the pan, then layer the beef mixture on top.

  6. Evenly pour about half the remaining tomato sauce on top of the beef.

  7. Next, add a layer of the ricotta and then provolone cheeses. (Use all of both).

  8. Spread the remaining penne pasta on top of the cheese, top with the remaining sauce, and cover the whole thing with mozzarella cheese.

  9. Sprinkle a small amount of parmesan cheese over the top, cover with foil and place in the oven for 35 minutes.

  10. After 35 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is slightly golden brown.

  11. Enjoy!
