These potatoes can be made up to a week ahead of time and reheated when needed. Great for Thanksgiving so you have one less dish to prepare on Thanksgiving Day reheat at 350 til warm through (at least an hour depending on how deep and wide the container is) I also add 1 Tbsp Mrs Dash Salt free original blend, but this item could no be found in the database.

Recipe Ingredients for Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

5 pounds potatoes, boiled
1 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup butter
8 oz cheese, cream light
1 tsp Onion salt
1 tsp Garlic salt
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

  1. Peel and boild potatoes until mashable

  2. Mash potatoes

  3. Add milk, butter and cream cheese

  4. Blend until smooth

  5. Add seasonings and mix
