Make this lasagna a day in advance without cooking the noodles!

Recipe Ingredients for Make Ahead Lasagna

8 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles
24 oz marinara sauce
16 oz fat free cottage cheese
15 oz part skim ricotta cheese
8 oz fat free mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 egg
1 1/4 lb ground turkey

Recipe Directions for Make Ahead Lasagna

  1. Brown ground turkey

  2. Mix together cottage, ricotta, 1/2 cup mozzarella and egg.

  3. Spread 1/2 cup sauce in bottom of 9x13 pan

  4. Layer DRY noodles on top of sauce

  5. Spread 1/3 of cheese mixture over noodles

  6. Spread 1 cup sauce over cheese

  7. Spread 1/2 ground turkey over sauce

  8. Repeat steps 4-7 twice more

  9. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella over last layer of sauce

  10. Cover and refridgerate overnight

  11. Bake at 325 degree oven for 1 hour covered.

  12. Bake additional 15 minutes uncovered at 350 degrees
