This is my version of a store bought snack here in Israel. You can substitute a granola/musli recipe for the dry ingredients to make this quicker. Also I use something called Date Honey to sweeten this, though the store bought may use fruit juice.

Recipe Ingredients for Make ahead breakfast

1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup almonds, lightly crushed
1 cup oats
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, shelled
5 cup Yogurt, Plain, Low Fat,

Recipe Directions for Make ahead breakfast

  1. Crush whole shelled almonds, but only enough so they break up into large pieces and shell the seeds if needed. Mix everything together until the dry ingredients are coated with the yogurt.

  2. Place the mixture into a easy to pour container and refrigerate until needed. You can add a little sweetener, fruit juice or honey or syrup, or eat as is. If using fruit juice I'd put it in with the rest of the ingredients so it can blend into the mixture.

  3. one serving is a slightly heaping cup.
