Slow-cooker roast beef with a New Mexican flavor

Recipe Ingredients for Machaca Beef

1 lb beef roast
4 oz chopped green chilies
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup Chichi's salsa medium

Recipe Directions for Machaca Beef

  1. Mix all ingredients, except salsa, together and pour on top of roast. Cover roast with just enough water to cover.

  2. Cook on low 10-12 hours. Reserve 1 cup liquid, drain rest.

  3. Shred beef, add salsa, and liquid for consistency and use as filling for Tex-Mex dishes.
