Recipe Ingredients for macaroni salad

13 1/4 oz. macaroni, whole wheat boiled without salt and rinsed until cold
16 oz. fat free sour cream
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. minced garlic
8 scallions, green portion chopped
4 1/4 oz chopped olives
2 oz. sliced pimientos
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for macaroni salad

  1. Cook whole wheat macaroni according to package directions; rinse under COLD water until cool to touch.

  2. While macaroni is cooking, dice scallions and mix with olives and pimientos..

  3. Mix sour cream and vinegar well; this will make sour cream taste more like mayo.

  4. In a large bowl, add macaroni and veggies. Add sour cream mixture.

  5. Mix in garlic and salt to taste.
