Macaroni cooked in a tomato-pepper sauce flavoured with italian herbs. No Cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni in Red Sauce (No Cheese)

1 3/4 cup elbow shaped Macaroni
1 oz Tomato Puree
3/4 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 clove Garlic
4/5 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 serving Maggi Rich Tomato Ketchup
4 tsp Sugars, Granulated
4 dash Salt, Table
7 grams Premium Selection Italian Seasoning

Recipe Directions for Macaroni in Red Sauce (No Cheese)

  1. 1.cook macaroni for 8 mins till al dente.

  2. 2. heat 1 1/2 tbsp oilive oil in a pan on medium heat.

  3. 3. add finely chopped garlic and fry for 30 sec.

  4. 4. add chopped capsicum and fry for 3-4 mins.

  5. 5.add 2 tbsp tomato puree, and 1 tsp tomato ketchup. mix well,

  6. 6.add salt, sugar and stir well to form a thick sauce. taste.

  7. 7. add about half a cup of water, to lighten the sauce.

  8. 8. add the cooked pasta and mix well.

  9. 9.after a couple of minutes, switch off the flame and sprinkle the seasoning. stir once.
