Macaroni, Red Pepper and Brocolli Bake

Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni, Red Pepper and Brocolli Bake

100 g raw macaroni
120 g brocolli
120 g red bell peppers
12 1/2 g butter
12 1/2 g plain flour
250 ml semi-skimmed milk
50 g cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Macaroni, Red Pepper and Brocolli Bake

  1. Cook macaroni

  2. Grate cheese

  3. Preheat oven to gas mark 6

  4. Chop brocolli and peppers into bite size pieces

  5. Blanch brocolli and peppers in boiling water for 3 mins

  6. Melt butter, add flour and milk. Whisk and heat until bubbling

  7. Cook for two minutes

  8. Add half of cheese to sauce and season

  9. Add vegetables and pasta to sauce

  10. Place mixture in a baking dish and top with rest of cheese

  11. Bake for 20 mins
