Trinidad Macaroni Pie, made by Cheese Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni Pie

1 1/2 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
5 cup elbow shaped Macaroni
0.13 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 medium Carrots
1/2 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
2 cup Whole Milk
2 tsp Complete Seasoning
1 tablespoon Oregano

Recipe Directions for Macaroni Pie

  1. Heat pot

  2. Add butter stir till melted

  3. Add flour

  4. Mix with butter till clumpy

  5. Add milk

  6. Stir till flour and butter dissolves

  7. add chopped vegetables

  8. Add 3/4 of the cheese

  9. Add seasoning

  10. stir till cheese melts

  11. Add pasta stir

  12. Grease pan

  13. Add pasta mixture

  14. sprinkle cheese on the surface

  15. sprinkle oregano

  16. put in oven bake till brown on to and bottom
