Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni & Ham bake

1 cup elbow macaroni
1 cup whole wheat elbow macaroni
1 cup low fat cheddar cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup 2% milk
1 small onion
2 cups broccoli florets
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1/4 pound butter

Recipe Directions for Macaroni & Ham bake

  1. Place cooked macaroni, chopped ham and broccoli florets in baking dish. Mix to blend.

  2. In a sauce pan, melt butter, and add onions. When onions are clear, slowly add flour, one tablespoon at a time. Add cheese and stir until melted. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add pepper to taste.

  3. Remove from heat and pour over contents of baking dish.

  4. Optional: Crush crackers and sprinkle over the top along with parmesan cheese.

  5. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Let rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
