Homemade cheese sauce with macaroni and veggies.

Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni & Cheese with Veggies

14 1/2 oz barilla plus penne
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups 2% milk
8 oz. monterey jack cheese
3 1/5 oz. cheddar cheese
2 oz. gouda cheese
5 oz. colby jack cheese
12 oz. broccoli
8 oz. baby bella mushrooms
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp marsala wine
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Macaroni & Cheese with Veggies

  1. Melt butter and wisk in flour. Slowly add milk. Wisk in cheeses and set aside.

  2. Boil pasta.

  3. Steam broccoli.

  4. Heat olive oil. Add mushrooms and saute. Add marsala wine.

  5. Combine all ingredients.
