Baked Macaroni with a Creamy Cheese Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni and Cheese

6 lb elbow macaroni
7 cups skim milk
4 oz all-purpose flour
1 lb shredded mozzerella cheese
1 1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Prepare macaroni according to box recipe.

  2. Whisk 1 cup milk with flour until smooth; set aside.

  3. Heat 6 cups of milk to 180 degrees; add flour mixture.

  4. Bring to a boil and cook unitl thickened.

  5. Stir in 1 pound mozzerella and 1 pound cheddar cheese; whisk until cheese is melted.

  6. Add macaroni and pour into full steamtable pan.

  7. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 pound cheese.

  8. Bake 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or unitl minimum internal temperature is 165 degrees.
