Recipe Ingredients for Macaroni and Cheese

170 g macaroni
1 cup soy milk
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp butter
113 g cheddar, shredded
1 medium onion
1 cup crackers crushed
1/5 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Macaroni and Cheese

  1. cook macaroni, drain well

  2. soften onion in butter

  3. add flour to cold milk, mix

  4. add milk mixture to onion and butter, add salt

  5. slowly add cheese over LOW heat until uniform

  6. pour over noodles into baking dish

  7. optional top with crushed crackers

  8. bake until all heated thoroughly or crackers are browning
