Recipe Ingredients for Mac N'Cheese (Best Ever)

1 2/3 cups elbow macaroni
2 tblsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 cup water
2 tblsp butter
3 cups mild cheddar cheese
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Mac N'Cheese (Best Ever)

  1. Cook and drain macaroni; put in crock pot.

  2. Combine corn starch, salt, mustard and pepper in medium sauce pan

  3. Stir in evaporated milk, water, and butter

  4. Cook over medium/high heat stirring constantly until mixture come to a boil

  5. Boil for 1 minute

  6. Remove from heat, stir in cheese until melted

  7. Pour over macaroni and stir

  8. Let cook on low for 1 hour stirring after 30 minutes
