Mac & Cheese with tomato and parmesan

Recipe Ingredients for Mac & Cheese with tomato and parmesan

16 oz. macaroni noodles, dry
2 tbls margarine
2 tbls flour
2 cups milk, 2%
12 slices american cheese, 2%
2 tomato, italian, sliced
2 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
1 oz parmesan cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Mac & Cheese with tomato and parmesan

  1. Prepare macaroni noodles as directed on package

  2. Prepare white sauce by melting margarine in smaller pan, stir in flour until completely mixed. Slowly add in half the milk. Heat thru. Add rest of milk. Heat thru again. Slowly add cut up slices of cheese until all are melted.

  3. Poor noodles in oblong baking pan. Pour cheese sauce over them and stir. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Add tomato slices and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  4. Bake in 350 oven for about 20 minutes. Then broil on hi for about 5 minutes.
