Makes 4 servings



Protien filled, Low Fat one dish meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Mac & Cheese

1 c elbow macaroni
1/4 cup onion chopped
1 tbs smart balance oil
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbs whole wheat flour
1 1/4 c almond milk unsweetened
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 c Low Fat, Cheddar Or Colby Cheese
6 oz Tuna, White, Canned In Water, Drained Solids

Recipe Directions for Mac & Cheese

  1. Cook pasta al dente'.

  2. Saute onions in oil for about 2 min. in a med sauce pan.

  3. Add flour and pepper for another 1 min.

  4. Add milkand cook, stirring till sauce begins to thicken.

  5. Stir in Mustard and Worcestershire.

  6. Add cheese and stir till melted, cook and addtional minute over low heat.

  7. Stir in pasta and tuna (or crumbled cooked sausage).

  8. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minute.

  9. (If desired slice 2 med. tomatoes and lay on top for the last 5 minutes of baking.)
