Homemade mac and cheese ala Lyndsay (my soon to be wife)

Recipe Ingredients for mac and cheese

2 cups skim milk
2 cups whole wheat macaroni
1 cup cheddar cheese
7 slices american cheese
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
2 tbsp margarine

Recipe Directions for mac and cheese

  1. Cook macaroni

  2. Mix flour and butter in saucepan, stir in milk slowly

  3. As milk heats, add cheese slowly until all melted OPTIONAL: add worcestershire sauce and onion powder for a bit of flavor

  4. Pour cheese mix over macaroni in casserole dish, mix a bit of melted butter with breadcrumbs and top casserole with it

  5. Bake in oven at 350 until brown, let cool and serve
