cook pasta in a pot, melt margarine add finely chopped onion and simmer 5 minutes. Add flour and stir, cook for another 5 minutes. remove from heat and gradually add milk. whisk over heat and add cheese slices. cook until slghtly thickened, season to taste. mix pasta and sauce, put n a baking dish, use bread as crumbs on top and grated cheddar. bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes let sit for 5 minutes, serve

2 cups skim milk
3 tbsp flour
1/4 cup margarine
1/8 cup margarine
1 onion
3 slices of bread
9/20 cup shredded cheddar
