Recipe Ingredients for Mac and Cheese with Ham and Onions

1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup onion, chopped
3 oz ham
1 cup milk
1 tsp butter
1 oz cheddar cheese
1 oz gouda cheese
2 tbl breadcrumbs

Recipe Directions for Mac and Cheese with Ham and Onions

  1. Saute onion and ham with the olive oil over medium high heat.

  2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta of your choice (not included in this calorie count).

  3. Remove onion and ham to a separate bowl, in the same pan, heat milk, butter and flour until slightly thick.

  4. Add the cheeses and melt over low heat.

  5. Add the onion and ham back in along with the pasta.

  6. Place in a dish and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
