Recipe Ingredients for Mabu Dofu

454 g Organic Tofu, firm
450 g Lean Ground Beef
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Ginger root, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons cooking wine
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon white flour
3 tablespoons peas, cooked

Recipe Directions for Mabu Dofu

  1. Cut tofu into 1/2-inch cubes

  2. Heat oil in pan; add ginger root, green onions, garlic and red pepper and stir-fry over high heat

  3. Add ground beef and stir-fry; add 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce, reduce heat to medium

  4. Add ketchup, 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, wine, and water

  5. Bring to boil

  6. Add flour and stir

  7. Add tofu and stir and simmer until thick

  8. Add cooked peas
