My version is healthier and more satisfying, with not much more of a calorie expense!!

Recipe Ingredients for Lyza's Hippocrates Broth

1 large carrot
1 cup scallions
1 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
1 1/2 cup chopped summer squash
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup parsley
4 basil leaves
1 dash thyme
1 dash ground ginger
7 cups water

Recipe Directions for Lyza's Hippocrates Broth

Put the water in a pot and simmer lowly. Add all of the ingredients (all should be chopped except of course the dashes of spices), and simmer them for 30 minutes. You will feel wonderful after eating this!! Enjoy :)
