Recipe Ingredients for Lynn's Shrimp & Veg Teriyaki Pasta

6 oz angel hair pasta
15 oz boiled shrimp
1 t toasted sesame seeds
3 oz scallions
3 oz carrots
8 oz fresh green beans
1/3 c teriyaki sauce
2 T shoyu
1/2 c fresh pineapple
2 T toasted sesame oil
2 T toasted sesame oil
3 oz bean sprouts
1 oz jalapeno
1/2 t ground ginger
1/4 t sea salt

Recipe Directions for Lynn's Shrimp & Veg Teriyaki Pasta

  1. Combine shoyu, teriyaki sauce, seeded & minced jalapeno, ginger and 2 T sesame oil into a dressing and set aside.

  2. Boil or steam peeled and de-viened small shrimp and set aside.

  3. Grate carrots. Use baby (very thin -- no mature seeds)) fresh or frozen green beans, and chop them into 3-4" pieces. Blanch green beans, then drain.

  4. In a large iron skillet, saute green beans & bean sprouts with carrots in remaining 2 T sesame oil.

  5. Prepare angel hair pasta (broken to 4-5" lengths), drain, and toss in skillet (or wok) with carrots, green beans, sprouts, chopped pineapple, shrimp and dressing. Serve hot, dusted with sesame seeds.
