Recipe Ingredients for Lynne's Alfredo Sauce

3 cloves garlic, crushed
4 T butter
3/4 c half and half
1/2 c parmesean cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Lynne's Alfredo Sauce

  1. Melt the butter over medium heat. Be careful not to burn.

  2. Crush the garlic into the butter and saute until just soft - do not burn.

  3. Add the half and half and whisk into butter about 1 minute. I usually add a little salt and pepper at this point.

  4. Add the cheese and combine all. Continue whisking over med-high heat until bubbly and the sauce thickens.
