Recipe Ingredients for Lyndi's pizza crust runzas

1 cup warm water
2 tsp. active dry yeast
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. olive oil
3 cups white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 onion, minced
1 tsp. garlic powder
4 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Recipe Directions for Lyndi's pizza crust runzas

Combine pizza dough ingredients in a bread machine and turn it onto dough cycle. Then... Brown lean hamburger meat. Remove fat and rinse. Add onion and garlic powder and black pepper (salt too if you want). Add a bit of water if it gets too hot. Then add cabbage and cook until it is extremely tender and cook all moisture out of meat mixture. When dough is done, roll it out on a lightly floured surface. Roll to about 1/5-1/4 inch thick. Cut into squares and put a heaped spoon of cooled meat mixture in the middle of each square. Pinch corners and sides together until it is sealed. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until they are starting to brown on top. Cool on wire rack. They taste great fresh and can easily be frozen and reheated w/out losing out on texture or taste!
