Makes 2 servings

Cooked, blended whole pears w/out core in cinnamon sauce--almost 7 grams of fiber!

Recipe Ingredients for Lyndi's Cinnamon Pear Sauce

2 raw pears, with skin
4 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
8 g. red hots
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Lyndi's Cinnamon Pear Sauce

Chop fresh and preferrably very ripe pears (then even less sugar is needed!) and add all ingredients to a small sauce pan. Boil, stirring occasionally until it is mushy and well-blended. Remove from heat, let cool. Place in blender now if you didn't blend them before cooking. If necessary you can reheat the sauce and serve alone or as a topping for spiced cake, etc....
