Recipe Ingredients for Lydia's Spicy Black bean soup

4 cups cooked black beans
1 medium red onion
1 carrot
4 cloves garlic
2 Celery stalks
2 cups tomatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp hot chili flakes
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Lydia's Spicy Black bean soup

  1. Add olive oil to medium temperature stock pot. Add Garlic, onions, chopped celery, carrots, cumin, and chili flakes. Saute on medium for about 7 minutes.

  2. Add black beans, chicken stalk, chopped tomatoes, and salt. Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
