I keep all ingredients ready. When I buy the vegetables, I prepare all the ingredients so I can do the salad in no time. Splurge in a good balsamic vinegar, it will have an almost sweet taste. Any vinegar will do.

Recipe Ingredients for Lunch salad

1 1/2 cups lettuce
1 shredded carrot
1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
1/4 cup scallions
1 small tomato
1 bacon
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Lunch salad

  1. Put all vegetables and tomato in a bowl

  2. Drizzle olive oil.

  3. Salt and pepper the salad.

  4. Drizzle vinegar.

  5. If you want to add 1 z of Gorgonzola cheese, just add 100 calories to the dish.
