Luna Protein bar is way too sweet and gross with too much carbs and not enough protein. So this is my attempt to fix that.

Recipe Ingredients for Luna Protein Redeux

180 g bar Protein Bar
1/4 c water
1 serving vitamin shoppe 100% soy protein
1 serving Vegetable protein, Vitamin Shoppe
1/4 cup bob's red mill shredded coconut
1/4 cup almond meal

Recipe Directions for Luna Protein Redeux

  1. Melt Luna Protein bar in microwave on chocolate melt setting for 10 seconds, check for softness and add 5 seconds more at a time.

  2. Mix water into protein power one tbsp at a time, until a paste forms, then mix with melted Luna bars.

  3. Roll bars in unsweetened coconut shavings and almond meal

  4. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.

  5. If bar is still too soft, turn off oven and leave in there overnight to dry or put bars in freezer.
