Golden brown pancakes that taste better than your everyday pancakes, and healthy too!

Recipe Ingredients for Lowfat Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

100 g egg, white, frozen
2 1/2 cups lowfat buttermilk ( 1 1/2%)
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Lowfat Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

  1. In large bowl, beat eggs with wire whisk until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth.

  2. Heat griddle or skillet over meduom heat or to 350F. Spray griddle with cooking spray.

  3. For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter from cup or pitcher onto hot griddle. Cook until puffed and dry around edges. Turn and cook other side until golden brown.
