Lowfat Scalloped Potatoe's. A real calorie saver.

Recipe Ingredients for Lowfat Scalloped Potatoe's

4 med Potatoes
1 1/2 c soy milk
2 tbsp Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 c Onion
1/2 c 2% Cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Lowfat Scalloped Potatoe's

  1. Peel and slice potatoes thinly. In a saucepan, combine milk, flour, salt,

  2. garlic powder and cayenne pepper and cook over med heat until sauce

  3. thickens. Add onions to sauce.

  4. Layer casserole dish with potato slices. Spoon half of sauce over slices

  5. and repeat with remaining potatoes and sauce. Cover and bake in oven

  6. preheated at 350 deg F. for 65 min.

  7. Optional: Remove from oven and sprinkle with low-fat cheddar cheese.
