Recipe Ingredients for Lower Sodium Beef Tacos

2 lbs. ground beef
2 cups (504g) tomatoes, diced
2 cups (472g) vegetarian refried beans
36 g low sodium taco seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Recipe Directions for Lower Sodium Beef Tacos

  1. brown the ground beef (calculated with 90%lean/10% fat ground beef)

  2. add 1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes

  3. add 1 can (14.5oz) Veg. beans

  4. add taco seasoning

  5. simmer on medium for 5-10 minutes or until all flavors are combined

  6. add a little water if it's too thick

  7. Serve with your choice of tortilla and toppings!
