Recipe Ingredients for Lower Fat Banana Cake

2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup egg beaters
1 cup banana, mashed
1/4 cup water
1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder

Recipe Directions for Lower Fat Banana Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9x9 pan with cooking spray.

  2. Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Beat in the egg beaters, water and bananas until well blended.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture and beat until moistened.

  4. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes. Cake is done when top is firm to touch and golden brown.
