I actually used CarbQuick baking mix, and they turned out wonderfully. The recipe on the box says 2 grams NET carbs.

Recipe Ingredients for Lower Carb Cheese Biscuits

2 cup Low-Carb Baking Mix
2 oz Organic Butter
0.5 cup, shredded Low Fat, Cheddar Or Colby Cheese
0.25 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping
2 oz Water

Recipe Directions for Lower Carb Cheese Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 450.

  2. Place the baking mix in a large bowl. Butter should be cold. Cut it into small pices, then work it into the mix with a pastry blender or 2 knives, until mixture looks like coarse meal.

  3. Stir in cheddar cheese.

  4. With a fork, work in the cream and water to form a soft dough (more water may be used if necessary).

  5. Do not knead or overwork the dough. Divide into 1-ounce balls, flatten with palms, and place on biscuit baking stone or lightly greased cookie sheet.

  6. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned.

  7. Remove from oven and cover with a clean towel for 5 minutes.
