A chance to use up odds and ends that are less than meal portions left in the the fridge and freezer. Always a crowd pleaser. The recipe analysis believes I am using commercially prepared turkey broth but I make my own at Thanksgiving and freeze it for use all year so the sodium isn't nearly that high.

Recipe Ingredients for Low Tide Salvage

8 cups turkey broth
1 cup chopped celery hearts
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped bell pepper
2 tbsp cajun spices
2/3 cup shredded carrots
1/2 lb. large shrimp
1 lb bay scallops
9 oz. cubed kielbasa
4 cups chopped spinach
13 1/4 oz. whole grain Rotini

Recipe Directions for Low Tide Salvage

Add all ingredients except shrimp, scallops and Rotini to slow cooker and allow to cook down for a few hours. With the cooker on high, add shrimp and scallops. Cook pasta according to box instructions and either add to other ingredients or serve separately
