Recipe Ingredients for Low sodium Chili

56.44 oz Bionaturae Organic Diced Tomatoes
30 oz 365 Pinto Beans
32 oz Ground Chicken
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
1 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Oregano
6 tsp Onion
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Low sodium Chili

  1. You can also use turkey or ground beef in this recipe. The ingredients list lists tsps for minced dried onion. It is actually supposed to be tablespoons, but it wouldn't let me put in tbsps. You can also use 1 medium onion if you prefer. The tomatoes and pinto beans are Whole Foods brands.

  2. Brown meat, green pepper, onion and garlic in a pan until meat is thouroughly cooked. Transfer meat to a slow cooker.

  3. Add pinto beans and spices. Stir to combine.

  4. Add diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.

  5. Cover and cook 4-6 hrs on low, 7-8 hrs on high.
